Keys to Overcoming Prostate Cancer. As a “Player Coach,” he shares not only his experience but offers practical tips for overcoming adversity.
With a Ph.D. in English and a minor in African American Studies, Johnson has been a keynote speaker at conferences and offered engaging presentations, such “Just What is the Blues?”, “My Name is Jupiter Hammon” and other topics in African American Literature.
He has offered Black History Presentations which include original works as well as literary works by other notable authors of color. Presentations have been made at high schools in Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina. In addition, Johnson has presented programs at

Because of his personal testimony with prostate cancer, Johnson is uniquely qualified to address cancer survivor support groups as well as groups supporting alternative treatment methods for cancer.
